The compendium 'Shoes 2013/2014 – 'The Shoe Industry in Numbers’ is available now from the German Federal Association of the Footwear and Leather Goods Industry Offenbach. This handbook which is indispensable for the shoe industry and trade has undergone a relaunch. The new layout with many coloured charts and additional statistics/tables is now even more user-friendly. In 180 pages, the extensive compendium includes the production numbers of the German shoe industry, import statistics and export statistics according to countries as well as average prices, prices indices and key performance figures on private consumption (domestic quantity available/market supply). The statistics offer an overview of the development over the last ten years and also contain a first overview of the most important data on the German shoe economy in the period from January until April 2014. The relaunch of 'Leather Goods and Luggage 2013/2014 – The Leather Goods Industry in Numbers' contains data on the German leather goods and luggage industry in the 2013/2014 period and the development in the last few years in 120 table pages and charts. In addition, the brochure provides detailed information about imports (origin and prices) and exports (customer countries and prices), the market situation overall and for handbags as well as prices and price indices for leather goods and luggage.
